Reflexology

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient therapy that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet aiming to reactivate and treat any congested areas of the body.

This complementary treatment (also known as Zone Therapy) is based on the theory that different areas of the feet are connected to certain organs and body symptoms. The way reflexology connects spots on the outside of your body to the inside is a bit like acupuncture and acupressure.

It aims to relax, and ease stress and anxiety. It may also help to reduce pain, lift mood, and improve general well-being.

Reflexology is a non-invasive treatment suitable for people of all ages, and you can be fully clothed during your appointment.

Here’s an example of the feedback we’ve had from patients following Reflexology;

“I have never felt such deep relaxation spreading through my whole body.”

“I was sceptical about trying Reflexology but would definitely have it again as I felt very relaxed afterwards. I would recommend Virginie as she put me at ease from the outset and is an excellent therapist”
