Graeme Western

Founder & Principal

Graeme has been here forever! He first started working in Bexley High Street in 1972, when his family took over running the health food shop and now he runs one of the bigger UK osteopathy clinics. As a practice we are proud of the history we have in Bexley.

He started training at the British School of Osteopathy in 1983 and qualified as an osteopath in 1987. He gained further experience such as, working for an orthopaedic surgeon 2 days a week for nearly 2 years and  working alongside the well known local osteopath and sports medicine doctor, Dr Boomla at the Crook Log sports injury clinic.

Graeme previously taught for some time on the British School of Osteopathy honours degree course and has given talks to many different groups including doctors and other therapists. He is also keen that he and the team keep their skills up to date and they all regularly attend training courses to help them do that.

Graeme often treats people who come in with more longstanding  problems, whether they are a sports person who wants to get back to peak performance or an older person who wants to stay independent and mobile. He has treated people at top level in most sports and has played most sports himself over the years.

When he’s not at work he can be found doing a range of different activities , reading, with family or in the garden.
